School Improvement Agenda for 2025

  • Expert Teaching Teams
  • Inclusive Culture
  • Community Partnerships

Moderation - across this week year level teachers have met with the Leadership Team to moderate Term 3 English, French and mathematics assessments. The specialist and support teachers have also been part of moderation to review assessments in science, music, HPE, languages, media arts and ICPs. Our moderation process aligns curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and reporting. I always look forward to moderation sessions as they are also a celebration of the learning that has occurred over the term.

Parent/Teacher Interviews

Parent/Teacher Interviews will take place on Tuesday 16 September between 3:15pm and 8:00pm. An email will be sent soon with details for booking interviews. If you are unable to book an interview at this time, please contact your class teacher for alternative arrangements.

Parent/Teacher interviews provide a great opportunity to get to know your child’s teacher and to hear important updates on academic and social/emotional information about your child. It also demonstrates to our students the important partnership parents and teachers share in the education of children.

School Assembly – Student Awards

There is no assembly in Week 10 due to Parent/Teacher interviews.

Book Week Celebrations

Our students enjoyed showing their costumes at our special assembly. I love the creativity of our families with amazing costume creations.

Federal Member Visit

Kara Cook, Federal Member for Bonner, visited our school on Tuesday afternoon to present us with new Australian, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flags which give a fresh look to our flag poles. It was lovely to meet Kara and welcome her to our community. We look forward to continuing our work with her over the coming years.

R U OK? Day

ok.pngThursday 11 September is R U OK? Day but we know that whether it is a friend, family member, partner, or colleague , the people around us go through life’s ups and downs every day. That is why we want everyone to feel confident to check in with the people they care about and Ask R U OK? Any Day.

By having regular, meaningful conversations, you build trust and normalise talking about what’s really going on, so when the people in your world find themselves struggling, they know you are someone they can talk to.

How to ask “R U Ok?” - Simple steps that could change a life:
