It is that time of the year again.  This Friday, 29 August, I will be meeting with students who are interested in applying to be our school captains in 2026.  Applications will only be given to students who are applying for the School Captain position.  Applications for all other positions will be handed out on Tuesday 11 November.  If your child is interested in applying for school captain, their applications will be due on Wednesday 17 September at 9:00am.    

1/2B Procedure Writing

Mrs Carr and Mrs Carter have been working on procedure writing in their classroom over the past term.  Last week students followed their own procedures to create their own sandwich.  It was very interesting to see the different toppings that students chose.  Multiple students chose an intriguing combination of vegemite and salt and vinegar chips. 

Containers for Change competition

Our Containers for change competition has taken off.  As of last Friday, we have collected 4915 containers, which is nearly $500!

Tomorrow, Friday 29 August is our final day for collecting containers.  The winners will be announced on Tuesday 2 September at assembly.

A reminder that NO alcoholic containers can be brought into school for our collection – this includes beer cans, wine bottles, or any other alcoholic cans and bottles.
