Last week the school sent an email to all families in regards to updating our records. If you need to update your child's enrolment information or provide documentation to the school to support your child's learning please contact the school office. We are also updating our students enrolment status for Indigenous and EALD learners. If you think your child identifies with either or both of these and may not of been included on their enrolment, please email mpeac9@eq.edu.au. 

  

Do you have a child starting Prep in 2026, or know someone who does?
Join us for our “Get Set for Prep” afternoon on Friday 20 June 2025, from 2:00 – 2:45pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for families to visit our Prep classrooms and experience what Prep at Tingalpa is all about.

For in-catchment families enrolling in the English Program, enrolment packs will be available for collection on the day. Please bring:

• Your child’s original birth certificate
• Two forms of proof of residency (e.g. a current rates notice or tenancy agreement, and a utility bill)

French Bilingual Program:
Places will be offered from early Term 3. Please note this invitation does not confirm enrolment.

Out-of-Catchment Families:
If you are outside the catchment and have no siblings currently enrolled at Tingalpa State School, offers will be made in Term 4, pending availability.

Parking Reminder:
Parking around the school is limited. We recommend parking across the road at Kianawah Park and using the pedestrian crossing. Please do not park at Twin Parks Shopping Village.

To finish off the afternoon, children can purchase a $1 water ice block—a senior student fundraising activity in support of Year 6 graduation.

Prep 2026 Enrolment Packs

Enrolment packs for Prep 2026 are now available for collection from the school administration office between 8:00am and 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
To collect your pack, please bring:

• Your child’s birth certificate
• Two forms of identification confirming your residential address within our school catchment

Term 3 Enrolment Sessions (by booking only – attend one session)

Online booking links have been emailed to families. Sessions include a group interview where:

• Parents will receive key information and complete enrolment questionnaires
• Children will engage in group activities with school staff

Prep Transition Activities (for enrolled children only)

Our transition sessions help your child feel confident and comfortable as they begin their school journey:

• Prep Reading: Wednesday 22 October 2025
• Fruit and Friends: Wednesday 5 November 2025
• Prep Orientation Day: Wednesday 26 November 2025

These sessions allow children to:

• Meet our friendly Prep team
• Explore learning spaces
• Make new friends and begin building a sense of belonging
