Thank a First Responder Day
Thank a First Responder Day is a day to show our gratitude and appreciation for the first responders in our community, for the work that they do to keep us safer. Many of us have needed the help of a first responder during an emergency at one stage or another. And all of us are aware of the honourable, selfless and challenging work first responders do for our communities.
Homes and farms saved from bushfire, loved ones taken to urgent medical help, those lost at sea rescued and reunited with family, and the resolution of countless other perilous situations, as we have experienced recently in our Tingalpa community during X-Tropical Cyclone Alfred and the flooding it caused.
We can all take the opportunity to send messages of thanks at the following site: https://fortemaustralia.org.au/tafrd-2/gratitude-gallery/.
Chappy Week 2025

Thank you to Chappy Lynda for all you do at Tingalpa State School for students, staff and families.
