SPOTLIGHT on the P&C
This new segment will introduce you to our P&C executive, P&C members and our superstar volunteers. Each newsletter we will introduce you to a different person. First up is our new President:
Name: Kelly Shoecraft
P & C Role: Currently President. I was previously the Food Truck co-ordinator.
Why I joined the P & C: I wanted to support the school for my children’s benefit, and it is a good way to stay informed about school activity. I’ve also found that it is great for connecting with other parents and carers.
Children at Tingalpa: My daughters are in Year 5 and Year 2.
When I’m not at P&C meetings: I’m a lecturer in Applied Linguistics/Learning and Teaching at Griffith University
Fun Fact: My happy place is swimming in the ocean. When I’m not running around with kids’ activities, you’ll find me at the beach
Next P&C meeting – new members are welcome!
Term 2 Week 8 = Tuesday 10 June
Come along to have your say in fundraising events and supporting the school. 6:30pm start. Attend in person at school or online. Contact the P&C for any queries: enquiries@tingalpasspandc.com.au
