Respecting Our Neighbours
Tingalpa State School has good relationships with our surrounding neighbours and it is important that we continue to show respect for our neighbours. Please ensure you only park in designated spaces, without blocking driveways or hinder access to properties. Parking is limited in the school carparks but there are many streets close to the school and Kianawah Park as parking options. Please do not park in the Twin Parks Shopping Complex, as cars may be towed. Thank you for thinking of our neighbours around the school area.
A big thank you
We would like to extend our thanks to those families who have made voluntary contributions to the school this year. We are excited to share that thanks to your support, we have been able to purchase a classroom set of Ozobots. These innovative coding robots will allow our students to dive deeper into hands-on learning and creativity, enhancing their STEM skills in fun and interactive ways.
School Assembly – Student Awards
Our school assemblies give an opportunity to celebrate learning and share school community messages.
Our Student Awards are given to students who have demonstrated one of our Tingalpa State School Values and is shared each fortnight at the school assembly – 2:30pm in the hall.
Our CARE values are:
Cooperation – Work together and encourage others
Attitude - Be honest and act positively
Respect – Respect people, property and the environment
Effort – Do your best and be responsible for your actions
This fortnight the focus value focuses on - Effort
Kind regards,
Donna
